I’ve been asked about what resources are available to get started with developing with ArcObjects.
If you are using ArcGIS Desktop, I would start online and take a look at the ArcGIS Desktop Developer Guide. See http://edndoc.esri.com/arcobjects/9.1/default.asp?URL=/arcobjects/9.1/ArcGISDesktop/HelpPages/StartPage_Desktop.htm
For ArcGIS Engine
http://edndoc.esri.com/arcobjects/9.1/default.asp?URL=/arcobjects/9.1/ArcGISEngine/HelpPages/StartPage_Engine.htm
You might also consider some free online training for ESRI’s virtual campus.
Exploring the VBA Environment
Getting Started with ArcObjects in ArcGIS
There is also a book from ESRI Press titlted Getting to Know ArcObjects.
Do you have any suggestion on getting started with ArcObjects?

Terrain Table
Several friends at the User Conference commented on the Terrain Table that was demoed at the UC. For those that didn’t make it to the conference or didn't find it in the huge exhibit hall, the UC Blog has a post that includes a short video of the table in action.

"Why didn't I know about ArcWeb Services before?"
Fantom Planet comments on ArcWeb and ask himself. "Why didn't I know about ArcWeb Services before?"
I saw some really impressive new features in the upcoming release of ArcWeb Services. The new viewer looks great and the ability to integrate your own data into ArcWeb will provide a lot of new opportunities for ArcWeb.
I also agree with Brian that the new public ArcWeb Services is huge.

10 things about the ESRI User Conference
Adena from Directions Magazine wrote her 10 "Takeaways" from the conference. I think she makes some good points. I'm still organizing all my notes from 7 days in San Diego.
What are your takeaways from the conference?
